Poweriser stilts were first patented in 2004 and have been in existence less than four years. During this time, there have been several variations and imitation versions of powerisers and the stilts themselves have a number of different pseudonyms. These include, but are not limited to: kangaroo stilts, jumping stlits, flying jumpers and pro-jumps. Since their inception, powerisers have remained relatively unknown and although many people have now seen them, they do not know what they are called or where they can be bought.

A recent TV commercial has helped to propel them into the limelight, however, and they are starting to get the publicity and attention that they deserve.
